We built Kordis for our mom.

She runs a staffing agency in Ontario. Kordis began on the other side of her phone, solving the five-in-the-morning confirmation scramble in a real operation.
Dawn breaking over ridgelines

Where it started

The gap was never another database.

Every morning, a dispatcher called down a worker list, left voicemails, and moved notes between spreadsheets. By the time the last person answered, the first shift had started.

The application, conversation, paperwork, shift, and hours already had systems. The work between them still lived in somebody’s memory. Kordis exists to carry that work forward and bring the decision back to the operator with the evidence attached.

How we build

Three promises that constrain the product.

Stay close to the desk

We watch the work with agency operators before deciding what the software should do.

Proof over promises

Prepared work keeps its source, state, and limits visible. The operator can inspect the reason.

Keep people responsible

Kordis prepares consequential work. A person remains accountable for the decision.

Build around the owner’s real week.

Bring the roster, the open shifts, and the systems you already use. Keep every decision.

Run your real operation for two weeks. No card to start, nothing charged.

  • No card to start
  • Nothing charged
